Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect (Contract)

Our client is seeking a Business Central Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design and pre-sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Own BC-led solution architecture — system design, solution boundaries, and integration intent
• Define how Business Central operates as core ERP alongside D365 CE, Power Platform, and external systems
• Work directly with senior stakeholders, shaping solutions around business outcomes, not just requirements
• Support pre-sales activities — leading solution definition during bids and discovery, translating high-level requirements into credible approaches, and supporting estimation through structured assumptions
• Drive change control, peer review, and architectural standards across the practice

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central expertise
• Strong manufacturing and warehousing domain knowledge in BC (production models, MRP/MPS, inventory flows, traceability)
• Proven solution architecture experience on complex ERP implementations, with clear SA/TA separation
• Sharp judgement on when to use standard BC vs ISVs vs Power Platform vs custom development
• Confidence leading senior stakeholder workshops and challenging assumptions
