Payments Project Manager at Morson Edge, London Area, £550 per day

Project Manager - Payments, Debit Card, Modernisation, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Real-Time, end to end UK Payments, Financial Services - Contract - Up to £550/day Outside IR35

My client, an exciting UK Digital Bank, is urgently looking for a Project Manager to join their London based office on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role, and you will be required in the office 3 days per week (in the City).

This is an exciting opportunity to run a number of projects within the Payments Portfolio. They currently have a lot of change within the portfolio, including Debit Card Modernisation, Current Account Switching, Digital Channel integration and platform enhancements. You would be managing a workstream within this, providing technical detail where necessary, as well as managing stakeholders and the projects end to end. Due to the nature of the bank, they have a lot of 3rd party suppliers and integration in the platforms too, so stakeholder engagement and vendor management will play part in this role.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Proven Project Management experience within the banking sector (preferably working at a challenger bank or Fintech)
• Proven Payments knowledge (end to end)
• Technical delivery experience from a project / programme perspective
• Experience managing projects end to end and project teams and budgets
• Excellent stakeholder management and vendor experience
• Excellent communication skills
