Regional Deployment Lead - RAN/4G/5G, radio access technologies

Contract: 3 months (Outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid Working

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Deployment Lead to manage end-to-end RAN site delivery across a defined region, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of RAN sites from nomination through to operational handover
• Coordinate delivery partners across design, acquisition, build, and integration
• Drive alignment to programme milestones, budgets, and business objectives
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in RAN deployment programmes across multi-vendor, multi-contract environments
• Technical knowledge of site deployment lifecycle (design, acquisition, build, integration, and activation)
• Understanding of mobile network architecture (4G/5G, radio access technologies)
• Familiarity with telecom infrastructure including antennas, transmission, and power systems
• Knowledge of site rollout tools, planning systems, and project tracking tools (eg, MS Project, Excel, dashboards)
• Experience using data and reporting tools to drive performance, decision-making, and forecasting
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety standards within telecoms deployment (CDM, compliance, risk management)
