React Native Developer – Contract London (Hybrid) | Outside IR35

The Role

We're looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our client on a contract basis. You'll be working across a consumer-facing mobile product, contributing to feature development, performance improvements, and technical delivery within an agile environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and holds their own in a strong technical team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and shipping features across iOS and Android using React Native
• Collaborating closely with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality experiences
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Contributing to technical decisions and code reviews
• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks across the mobile stack

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native in a production environment
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating third-party services
• Comfortable working across both iOS and Android platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced team

Nice to Have

• Background in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated financial services
• Familiarity with financial data, compliance considerations, or PSD2/Open Banking concepts
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment (App Store / Play Store)
