Senior Network Engineer at Levy Global, North Yorkshire, £Contract Rate

Senior Network Engineer | Contract Outside IR35 | North Yorkshire 1 day per week onsite

I'm currently supporting a key client on a large-scale infrastructure transformation programme and am looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join the project team.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on network migration, infrastructure transformation and the decommissioning of legacy environments as services are moved into the client's own datacentre estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Network migration and transformation activities
• Decommissioning legacy network infrastructure
• Supporting the migration of services from managed service environments into customer-owned infrastructure
• Network implementation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Working closely with infrastructure, server and project teams
• Supporting both planned and out-of-hours network changes where required

Technical Requirements

• Strong Aruba networking experience
• Cisco switching and routing
• HP networking infrastructure
• Enterprise network migration experience
• Network decommissioning experience
• LAN/WAN troubleshooting and implementation
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder communication skills

Ideal Background

• Experience supporting datacentre migration or infrastructure transformation programmes
• Hands-on experience with Aruba, Cisco and HP network environments
• Experience decommissioning legacy network infrastructure
• Comfortable working on planned out-of-hours or weekend changes when required
