Contract Product Manager - VoIP / Telco at We Are Fr Group, Manchester, £Contract Rate

A high-growth consumer connectivity business in Manchester is looking for an experienced Contract Product Manager to own the launch and growth of a new VoIP product - with further consumer products to follow.

The business has a strong and growing customer base and is now diversifying its product portfolio for the first time. VoIP is the immediate priority, with mobile SIM, mesh, and home security sitting in the roadmap behind it. This is a genuine ground-up product opportunity with real commercial impact from day one.

What you will be doing

• Own the VoIP product end-to-end from launch - this is live and time-sensitive
• Build training programmes for a customer service team split across the UK and internationally
• Work directly with the Sales Director to drive attach rates and grow ARPU
• Manage the product roadmap for subsequent launches across the consumer portfolio
• Scale product capability as the business grows - including potential acquisition scenarios

What we are looking for

• VoIP or consumer telephony product experience - non-negotiable
• Telco or mobile background - other gaps are acceptable if VoIP experience is strong
• Track record delivering products that scale at pace
• Experience building CS training programmes for frontline teams
• Commercial focus - you will be working on revenue growth, not just delivery
• Happy to be office-based in Manchester and close to the team day-to-day

• Up to £500/day outside IR35
• Manchester-based, office-focused role
• ASAP start - the product launch is live and the timeline is real
• Rolling contract with a genuine route to perm for the right person if interested
