Business Analyst (Salesforce & SAP) - Outside IR35 Contract

Location: Primarily Remote (UK)
Duration: Initial 6-Month Contract
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Travel: Occasional travel to London for key stakeholder meetings and occasional international travel as required

We are supporting a global organisation undergoing significant business and technology transformation and are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile programme on an initial 6-month contract basis. This role will act as the critical link between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into successful technology solutions. The successful candidate will work across multiple workstreams and enterprise platforms in a complex international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering activities through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Support Product Owners with backlog creation, refinement, and prioritisation.
• Analyse and document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, solution design, testing, and delivery.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists.
• Support Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and project governance activities.
• Participate in SIT and UAT activities, including test scenario validation and defect analysis.
• Support deployment, hypercare, user adoption, and business readiness activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimisation, and increased business value.

Essential Experience

• 7+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst or Business Enablement Analyst within enterprise technology environments.
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements throughout the project life cycle.
• Proven experience working across Agile, Hybrid, and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting global or multi-regional programmes.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Ability to create process maps, workflows, use cases, and business process documentation.

Mandatory Platform Experience

Candidates must have demonstrable experience working with both:

• Salesforce
• SAP

Applications without exposure to both platforms are unlikely to be considered.

Desirable Experience

• French or German language skills.
• Experience supporting CRM, ERP, Finance, HR, or other enterprise business systems.
• Experience defining KPIs, adoption metrics, and business value measures.
• Knowledge of change management and business impact assessment activities.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum, or similar.
