Digital Skills are working with a Global Technology Giant operating at significant scale across complex, data-driven platforms. The organisation is investing heavily in systems that underpin AI-driven content moderation and operational tooling.

About the Role

This is a highly technical, hands-on full-stack engineering role. The successful contractor will work closely with data engineers, machine learning teams and operational stakeholders to build and enhance internal systems that support high-volume, mission-critical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data processing architectures on cloud platforms
• Build and maintain full-stack applications used by Trust & Safety operations
• Develop Back End services using microservices-based architectures
• Support and integrate AI and machine learning models into production systems
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Analyse and process high-volume data streams
• Troubleshoot issues across complex internal platform ecosystems
• Improve internal tooling to reduce resolution time for critical Trust & Safety issues

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Python
• Front End development experience using Angular and TypeScript
• Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures
• Solid SQL and data analytics capability
• Experience with database and system architecture
• Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts within production environments
• Experience working in highly technical, engineering-led teams
• Comfortable using modern development environments and tooling
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools
• Minimum of 4-5 years relevant professional experience, with more senior profiles preferred
