Mobile Application Developer at IT Recruitment Solutions, United Kingdom, £Contract Rate

Mobile Developer with both Swift AND Kotlin skills required by a market-leading digital media technology business who continue to grow exponentially. Our client is partnering with a well-known sporting client and are seeking a Mobile Developer to re-do their in-app video player and payment platform. Experience with in-app video players (Brightcove) or similar media technology would therefore be highly beneficial.

This is a fixed term (30 days) and fixed price piece of work, fully remote and outside IR35. Solid commercial experience with both Swift AND Kotlin is a hard requirement.

Role briefs (to be integrated within their Swift & Kotlin mobile app):

• Brightcove Player SDK integration
• VOD playback + live stream (DVR, live controls, live detection)
• Background audio (live commentary, lock screen controls)
• Backend JWT auth integration (playback token, token refresh)
• IAP - StoreKit 2 purchase flow + Cleeng sync + polling
• Entitlement checks
• Testing, edge cases, polish
• Video index screen
• Link live with fixtures
• Possibly vertical video (TBC)
• Total 30 days
