The Role

An established digital agency is seeking a Senior or Lead Sitecore Developer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.

You will play a key role in delivering a high-profile Sitecore implementation for a major client. This is a hands-on role requiring strong backend expertise alongside modern frontend capability.

Candidates must have strong commercial experience with React.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of Sitecore-based digital platforms (Sitecore XP / XM / Headless)
• Build and integrate frontend components using React
• Work within Sitecore JSS / Headless / Next.js architectures
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and delivery teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring
• Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and code quality
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and stakeholder engagement

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Sitecore (8/9/10 or XM/XP)
• Proven experience delivering Sitecore Headless / JSS solutions
• Must have strong hands-on React experience (essential)
• Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks
• Strong knowledge of:
• .NET / C#
• ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core
• APIs and integrations (REST)
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Ability to operate at Senior or Lead level

Desirable Experience

• Sitecore SXA, Horizon, or Content Hub
• Azure or other cloud platforms
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Background in digital agencies or consultancy environments
