Contract | £500 per day Outside IR35 | Reading (3 days per week onsite) | Initial 3-Month Contract

Cloud Decisions are supporting a customer on the appointment of a Power Platform Lead Consultant to join a major Power Platform programme delivering business-critical solutions within a secure and highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys shaping solutions, working directly with stakeholders, and driving best practice across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The initial contract is 3 months, but the programme is expected to continue beyond the initial engagement for the right individual.

The Role

As the Power Platform Lead Consultant, you'll take ownership of solution design and delivery across a range of Power Platform initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.

You'll be expected to remain hands-on while providing technical leadership and guidance around platform standards, governance, and delivery best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering Power Platform solutions across multiple workstreams
  • Building and enhancing solutions using Power Apps, Dataverse and Power Pages
  • Leading technical workshops and stakeholder discussions
  • Defining governance, environment strategy and application lifecycle management (ALM) processes
  • Supporting solution architecture decisions and technical roadmaps
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring where required
  • Working closely with customer stakeholders to shape requirements and outcomes

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with experienced Power Platform professionals who combine strong technical capability with consulting and stakeholder management skills.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience delivering solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven Apps)
  • Deep understanding of Dataverse, including data modelling, security roles, relationships and governance
  • Experience delivering Power Pages solutions
  • Strong solution design and architecture capability
  • Experience defining governance, standards and ALM approaches within Power Platform environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in an evolving, fast-paced delivery environment

Desirable

  • Experience within regulated, public sector, defence or security-conscious environments
  • Experience leading developers or acting as a technical lead on Power Platform programmes
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and release management for Power Platform

Working Arrangement

  • Initial 3-month contract
  • £500 per day Outside IR35
  • Reading - 3 days per week onsite (mandatory)
  • Immediate start preferred
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance if required
