My client are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and operate next-generation automation solutions powered by Agentic AI. This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, data platforms, and artificial intelligence, with a strong focus on automating business processes, improving operational efficiency, and enabling intelligent decision-making across the enterprise.
You will work closely with a team of 5 others to develop scalable AI-driven solutions leveraging AWS cloud services, large language models, and enterprise data platform
This role is Outside IR35 and is paying £450 per day. There is a requirement to be in the London based office 1 or 2 times per month
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and implement Agentic AI solutions to automate operational and business processes.
- Design and deploy AI applications using AWS Bedrock and foundation models.
- Build automation frameworks and orchestration workflows using Python.
- Integrate AI services with enterprise data platforms, including Teradata.
- Develop APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Monitor and optimise platform performance using Datadog and other observability tools.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with architecture, data engineering, DevOps, and business teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Ensure cloud environments comply with security, governance, and operational standards.
- Support troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience Essential
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
- Practical experience developing AI-powered solutions using AWS Bedrock.
- Experience building Agentic AI workflows, autonomous agents, or AI-driven automation platforms.
- Advanced Python development skills.
- Experience working with Teradata and large-scale enterprise data environments.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance principles.
