Job Opportunity: Business Analyst in Change Management

Location: Remote

Contract: Outside IR35

Duration: 6-months

Overview Of The Programme

The organisation is delivering several high‑priority regulatory, payments, compliance, and technology change initiatives. They require a hands‑on Business Analyst who can operate across multiple workstreams, with strong Financial Services experience and a background in business‑driven change. Experience in either SEPA (payments) or GDPR (data governance/archiving) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

You will support a portfolio of upcoming change initiatives and be able to clearly articulate clearly delivered end to end achievements, including:

SEPA (Irish Payments) – Nice to Have

  • Analyse and document current SEPA payment processes for Irish transactions.
  • Support the transition to a new SEPA file format.
  • Work with payments and operations teams to ensure readiness for a hard regulatory deadline.
  • Identify impacts, gaps, and business requirements to ensure uninterrupted payment processing.

GDPR (Data Archiving & Governance) – Nice to Have

  • Define requirements for centralised data archiving aligned to GDPR rules and retention schedules.
  • Assess scope, appetite, and operational impact of implementing a unified archiving solution.
  • Support updates to privacy notices and compliance documentation.
  • Engage with risk, compliance, and IT stakeholders to shape future data governance processes.

Additional Workstreams

  • Enhancements to credit agreements.
  • Risk and compliance tooling improvements.
  • Supporting a Windows Server upgrade from a business‑change perspective.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Financial Services experience is mandatory.
  • Strong background in business change, not just technical analysis.
  • Experience with SEPA payments or GDPR/data archiving (either is acceptable).
  • Payments systems knowledge; understanding of loans/credit products is an advantage.
  • Ability to run workshops, map processes, gather requirements, and drive delivery.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Agile delivery experience; product‑focused mindset.
