About the role


Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Transformation Lead to join the team to accelerate a strategic cybersecurity transformation programme.

As the Cyber Transformation Lead, you will be a strategic specialist, playing a key role in the development and implementation of cyber policies, standards, and security culture. You will be instrumental in driving long-term cyber improvements, overseeing portfolio alignment to strategy, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an internal cyber advisor aligned with organisational strategy, leading the resolution of complex, high-profile cyber issues.
  • Develop, refresh, and embed enterprise cyber policies, standards, and procedures while robustly tracking adoption and compliance.
  • Provide portfolio oversight and RAG reporting, proactively escalating and driving the remediation of strategic misalignments.
  • Partner with HR and Learning & Development to establish cyber profession standards, skills matrices, and workforce pathways.
  • Support enterprise assurance activities and contribute directly to senior-level incident readiness and simulation


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Active Security Clearance (SC) – must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years to meet eligibility criteria.
  • Proven track record as a Cyber Transformation Lead or Senior Cyber Consultant within large-scale, highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Deep experience in cybersecurity governance, policy development, and compliance frameworks (including GDPR).
  • Strong portfolio oversight capability with experience managing RAG reporting and driving strategic alignment across complex projects.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a demonstrable ability to brief, advise, and influence senior executive leadership.
