3 months initially, Jersey (Channel Islands) & Remote Working

Bench IT is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to support a large organization and starting ASAP working hybrid 2 days per week in Jersey. They will support the secure design and delivery of digital and operational technology environments across a complex setting.

The successful candidate will have the skills & experience included below.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design secure cyber security architectures across IT and OT environments.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modelling, and compliance mapping activities.
• Design and implement identity and access management, logging, monitoring, and security control strategies.
• Support secure integration across systems, BMS/BOS, IoT, medical devices, and integration platforms.
• Ensure alignment with cyber security policies, standards, and industry frameworks.
• Contribute to incident response and monitoring strategies.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, NHS DSPT, and IEC 62443 for industrial and operational technology security.

Required Experience

• Proven experience designing and implementing cyber security architectures within acute healthcare or other safety-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of how IT and operational technology work together, including connecting and securing clinical systems, medical devices, IoT devices, and building management systems.
• Expertise in core security architecture principles, including network segmentation, zero trust methodologies, encryption standards, identity and access management, and security monitoring solutions.
• Experience conducting cyber risk assessments, threat modelling, and developing mitigation strategies for complex operational environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement
