Telecommunications Security Act, Security Auditing

An experienced Security specialist is required by a Global Telecoms client, to act as a point of contact for inbound security, audit, compliance, and regulatory requests.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all security-related demand into Network Engineering. Act as a conduit between the requester and technical teams.
• Determine the scope, priority, and required technical input.
• Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure requests are complete and actioned to required timeframes.
• Coordinate across Network Engineering teams to gather technical responses, evidence, and remediation plans.
• Track requests through to completion and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Regulatory experience within the Telecoms industry - Telecoms Security Act and Security Auditing.
• Experience within network infrastructure and engineering operations.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical requests, and communicate these between all stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Experience managing audits, regulatory requests, or compliance activities.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
