Are you an experienced Data Engineer looking for your next Databricks contract where you can make an immediate impact on a large-scale transformation programme?

📍 Remote (UK-based only)

💼 6 Month Contract (Outside IR35)

💰 £450-£600 per day

We’re partnering with a large organisation currently delivering a major data modernisation initiative and looking for a skilled Azure Databricks Data Engineer to support the transformation of their enterprise data environment.

As a Data Engineer, you will be:

🔧 Building and optimising Azure Databricks workflows and pipelines

📊 Working with Azure Data Factory and streaming technologies for real-time data processing

👥 Collaborating with engineering teams on Microsoft stack integration improvements

🔄 Helping replace legacy integrations with modern data architecture

☁️ Supporting enterprise-scale cloud data transformation initiatives

We’re open to different backgrounds, but the ideal Data Engineer will have:

✔️ Strong commercial experience with Azure Databricks

✔️ Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and streaming solutions

✔️ Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies

✔️ Previous experience modernising legacy data environments and integration layers
