Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst – Front Office FX & Payments Technology - £600-700/Day Outside IR35 - 6-Months Rolling - London | Hybrid Working

A major global financial institution is looking to hire a senior Project Manager / Business Analyst to support a high-profile Front Office FX and Payments technology programme.

This is a strategic, business-facing role sitting close to trading and product leadership, focused on driving transformation across electronic FX, payments infrastructure, and associated banking platforms. The successful candidate will work across both technology and business teams to help shape long-term product direction, investment priorities, and delivery execution.

The position would suit someone who combines strong delivery capability with a genuine understanding of Front Office banking technology and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner closely with senior Front Office and technology stakeholders to help define and execute the FX technology roadmap

• Lead complex change initiatives across FX trading, payments, rates, and broader banking systems

• Work with product and engineering teams to drive platform enhancements and strategic transformation projects

• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation

• Support governance, investment planning, prioritisation, and programme execution across several workstreams

Required experience:

• Strong background within Front Office technology environments, ideally covering FX, payments, capital markets, or transaction banking

• Proven experience delivering complex technology programmes in banking or financial services

• Comfortable operating across both project delivery and business analysis responsibilities

• Good understanding of FX workflows, payment flows, APIs, or financial technology integrations

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technology teams
