Salesforce Developer – CPQ Focus

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Outside IR35 / Fully Remote (UK Based)

Rate: £650/750 per day (flexibility available based on experience)

We are seeking a highly technical Salesforce Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex solutions within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with a heavy emphasis on Salesforce CPQ.

The ideal candidate treats Salesforce development like traditional software engineering, prioritising version control, automated testing, and modular architecture.

Technical Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Salesforce Core: Expert-level proficiency in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• SF CPQ: Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).
• Development Tools: Proficiency in VS Code and Salesforce CLI (SFDX) for source-driven development.
• Version Control :Advanced use of GitHub (branching strategies, PR reviews, and conflict resolution).
• Architecture: Experience with Package Management (Unlocked Packages/2GP) and modular metadata management.
• Project Management: Agile fluency using Jira for task tracking and Confluence for technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications (The Plus Factors)

We are looking for a developer who wants to push the boundaries of the platform.

Knowledge in the following areas will set you apart:

• Design Patterns: Practical experience with fflib (Apex Enterprise Patterns) to ensure separation of concerns.
• Testing & Automation: Familiarity with at4dx (Advanced Test & Automation for Salesforce DX) for robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Revenue Expansion: Experience with Salesforce Billing to support the end-to-end Lead-to-Cash process.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience configuring CircleCI for automated deployments.
• Infrastructure as Code: Foundational knowledge of AWS basics and Terraform for managing external integrations or cloud infrastructure.
