Talentmark are recruiting for a Technical Writer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis up to the end of the year.
Salary:
£350-£400 per day PAYE, or £463.53-£529.75 per day Ltd/Umbrella (outside IR35)
Technical Writer role:
Our client is one of the world's premier innovative biopharmaceutical companies, discovering, developing and providing over 160 different medicines, vaccines and consumer healthcare products to help improve the lives of millions of people in the UK and around the world every year.
Location:
This role is a remote position, with occasional visits to our client's site in Welwyn Garden City and/or Basel, Switzerland.

Technical Writer role:
- Process documentation - capturing end-to-end operational processes, in a simple and easy-to-follow manner.
- RACI roles and responsibilities - defining who does what in each process.
- Content standardisation - follow a unified structure and tone, in line with the company style.
- Stakeholder engagement - interviewing SMEs to extract knowledge and translate it into user guides.
- Asset maintenance & governance - updating the policy hub and repositories to reflect current operational standards.
- A background in technical writing, ideally within Healthcare or Software engineering.
- Proven ability to translate complex operational processes into clear documentation.
- Documentation-as-code practitioner - familiar with markdown, version control, and static site generators.
- Experience in mapping intricate workflows, involving budgeting, procurement, and operations into the OneDoc framework.
- Experience with the Google Workspace for real-time collaborations.
