Overview

We are working with a client who is significantly scaling their mobile engineering capability and is looking to engage experienced Android and iOS Developers to join a large, modern delivery programme. You'll be working on high-traffic, customer-facing mobile applications within a collaborative, agile environment.

The client is hiring 9 Android Developers and 9 iOS Developers, offering long-term remote contracts outside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
• Work within an Agile/Scrum delivery model

Required Skills Android Developers

• Strong commercial experience developing Android applications
• Proficiency with Kotlin (Java experience beneficial)
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of MVVM/Clean Architecture
• Experience with unit testing and modern CI/CD pipelines

iOS Developers

• Strong commercial experience developing iOS applications
• Proficiency with Swift
• Experience with UIKit/SwiftUI
• Knowledge of iOS design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with CI/CD

Nice to Have

• Experience working on large-scale or high-usage applications
• Previous contract experience
• Familiarity with cloud-based backends
• App Store/Play Store release experience
