Performance Tester - Remote - Outside IR35

We're hiring a Performance Tester to help build and deliver a performance testing capability for a large-scale mobile app ahead of its next release phase.

This is a hands-on role where you'll define key user journeys, implement testing tools, execute performance tests, and leave behind a repeatable framework the client can continue to use.

Key responsibilities

• Define user journeys and performance test scenarios
• Establish and validate NFRs
• Select and implement tools (eg JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling)
• Execute tests, analyse results, and identify bottlenecks
• Document approach and support handover to internal teams

What we're looking for

• Experience in performance testing (web or mobile)
• Strong understanding of load, stress, and NFRs
• Ability to build frameworks from scratch
• Confident working with stakeholders and engineers
