Data Engineer with Azure experience, building and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines. You will scope my client's date to design, build, and integrate 11 years of data into an aggregated system that allows them to collect, store, process, and analyse data at scale.

Must be happy with the first 2 days of the contract in the office, either Bedfordshire or London!

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop, maintain, and optimize robust data pipelines and microservices using Python, Java, or Scala
• Data Architecture: Contribute to the architecture of their cloud-based data platforms (Azure)
• Data Quality: Implement data quality checks to ensure data reliability and consistency
• Experience in SQL and Python or Java

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
• Understanding of data modelling, data warehouse design, and data governance
• Excellent communication skills-you can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
