Interim Contract Manager (Outside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Interim Contract & Legal Transaction Manager to provide assurance, structure, and senior-level oversight across a high-volume, complex contract environment.

This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced programmes, operates confidently with senior stakeholders, and works autonomously alongside internal teams and external legal advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract management across multiple portfolios, covering both TSA and non-TSA agreements.
• Drive all contract actions through to completion, including novations, amendments, consents, replacements, and exits, ensuring alignment with programme timelines.
• Coordinate organisational and functional inputs required for legal entity set-up, working closely with internal legal teams.
• Track and manage all transactional and carve-out documentation to ensure readiness ahead of key signing milestones.

Experience Required

• Senior-level experience in contract management, procurement, commercial operations, or legal-adjacent roles.
• Demonstrable experience supporting complex transformation programmes, transactions, or carve-outs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and external legal partners.
• High attention to detail and confidence managing large, complex contract populations.
• A proactive, authoritative delivery style with the ability to maintain governance and momentum with minimal oversight.

Engagement Details

• Outside IR35
• 3-month contract
• 1 day per week onsite (flexible/remote for remaining days)
