Implementation Project Manager at Kinetech, United Kingdom, £375 per day

£375 per day

Contract Description

Implementation Project Manager (Hands-On Tech Delivery)

6 Month Contract | Up to £375/day (Outside IR35)

Sporadic UK Wide Travel to client sites

This isn’t your typical Project Manager role.

If you enjoy sitting in meetings talking about RAID logs and governance frameworks - this probably isn’t for you.

If you prefer being on-site, solving real problems, working with suppliers, and actually getting tech live in busy environments - keep reading.

You’ll be working with a global hospitality business, delivering technology across stadiums, venues, universities and other large-scale environments. Think live events, high footfall sites, and situations where things need to work first time.

You’ll be right in the middle of it.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take loosely defined ideas and turn them into something that works in the real world.

That means:

  • Speaking to stakeholders to understand what they actually need
  • Working with suppliers to figure out what’s possible
  • Keeping things moving across multiple projects at once
  • Being on-site for key moments - installs, go-lives, issue resolution
  • Getting stuck in when things don’t quite go to plan (because they won’t always)

It’s a mix of shaping solutions and delivering them - but the emphasis is very much on getting things done.

The kind of person this suits

You’ll likely but not necessarily be:

  • An Implementation PM, Deployment Manager, or Delivery-focused Project Manager
  • Used to working across multiple sites or locations
  • Comfortable dealing directly with suppliers and clients
  • Still close to the detail - not just managing from a distance

Experience in environments like hospitality, retail tech, venues, or similar will help.

Most importantly, you’re someone who:

  • Gets stuck in
  • Figures things out
  • Keeps things moving

Why this role

  • Exciting locations – stadia, events, large-scale venues
  • Variety – no two projects are the same
  • Real impact – you’ll see what you deliver actually being used
  • Flexibility – mix of site, home and office
  • 6-month contract, outside IR35

If you’re looking for a role where you can just get on with it and make things happen, this is a good one.
