We are currently recruiting for a Data Transformation Lead to join a world-renowned sporting organisation undergoing a significant data and digital transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data leader to shape and deliver enterprise-wide data capability within a high-profile environment operating across major international events and global audiences.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading end-to-end data transformation initiatives, from current-state assessment through to future-state design and delivery across the organisation
  • Defining and executing the data transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with wider business, digital, and operational objectives
  • Acting as a key strategic lead for data governance, embedding data quality, ownership, and compliance standards across the enterprise
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into scalable and actionable data solutions
  • Supporting the design of target-state data architecture and modern data platform capabilities in collaboration with technical teams
  • Driving adoption of data-driven decision-making, improving accessibility, trust, and usability of data across business functions
  • Identifying opportunities to unlock value through improved data capability, analytics enablement, and insight-driven performance


What they’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a Data Transformation, Data Strategy, or senior data leadership role within a complex organisation
  • Strong track record of delivering data transformation initiatives within a small to medium-sized enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data management principles, and data quality best practices
  • Experience working with modern data architectures and cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Background working across data, analytics, BI, or data engineering teams within transformation programmes
