Business Analyst - London Market, IT Ops Transformation & Infrastructure

Our client, a London Market insurer, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major IT Operations service transformation. This role sits within a high profile carve out programme, focused on separating IT Ops and Infrastructure services currently provided by a shared services organisation and transitioning them to a newly appointed third party provider. You'll play a key role in analysing current state IT Ops processes and the technology that underpins them, helping define how these services will be recreated in the new environment. This is a delivery focused, business facing role suited to a London Market BA with strong experience across infrastructure, service transfers, and complex change initiatives. You'll work closely with internal teams and the third party provider, supporting the programme from analysis through service transfer, UAT, and post live stabilisation.

This is a contract role paying circa £600pd - £700pd DOE Outside IR35 and requires 2-3 days a week in their London office

Experience required:
  • Proven London Market Business Analyst experience
  • Strong understanding of IT Operations, Infrastructure, platforms, and applications
  • Experience supporting service migrations or technology transfers
  • Ability to analyse processes end to end, including elements of Target Operating Model (TOM) work
  • Experience contributing to carve out, separation, or divestiture programmes (technology focused highly desirable)
  • Comfortable supporting informal, business led UAT
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
