Must be able to:
Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders.
Take ownership of workstreams.
Operate independently - not be led by the client.
Hold their own in discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Expected to work across different areas of DWP throughout the week.

Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong background as a Security Architect or Senior Security Consultant.
Ability to work autonomously and provide high-level security guidance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience working in large government environments.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
Comfortable working in a small, high-trust team.

Technical Exposure
AWS (highly beneficial).
DWP experience (strong advantage).

Nice to Have
Experience leading or mentoring small teams.
Experience in similar government departments or large public-sector programmes.
