Fabric Data Engineer - Contract Role

Outside IR35 | Day Rate: £500-550pd | Woking/Oxfordshire area | Hybrid | Initial 6 Months

We're also looking for a Data Engineer to join a programme of work within a commercial data environment, supporting a Customer 360 data management initiative across sales and marketing for a global brand.

This role has a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric, the wider Azure stack, and modern development practices, including agentic development and GitHub-based workflows.

You'll be hands-on, delivery-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and manage data products supporting sales and marketing analytics.
• Implement agentic and automated development patterns where appropriate.
• Work closely with Power BI developers and stakeholders to enable analytics use cases.
• Contribute to GitHub-based development, version control, and CI/CD practices.

Ideal Candidate

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer within Azure environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Comfortable working with GitHub and modern development workflows.
• Delivery-focused, pragmatic, and team-oriented.
• Able to attend site 1-2 days per week in Woking or the wider Oxfordshire area.
