We're working with a leading specialist IT consultancy delivering mission-critical infrastructure for high-security environments on this exciting opportunity.

Are you an SC Cleared Platform Engineer who views infrastructure through the lens of a Software Engineer? We are looking for an Azure expert to join a high-impact project, focusing on advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, and secure-by-design architecture. You will be at the forefront of building resilient, high-availability cloud environments using a modern stack including Terraform, Bicep, and GitHub Actions.

The Role

• Design and implement high-availability Azure architectures featuring regional failover and load balancing strategies directly within IaC templates.
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable Terraform and Bicep modules, driving consistency and modularity across the infrastructure estate.
• Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles by integrating automated security and compliance checks into pipelines using tools like Checkov and Terratest.
• Develop complex CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions to automate orchestration and deployment strategies.
• Engineer hardened Azure environments leveraging Managed Identities, Private Endpoints, and sophisticated RBAC configurations.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Active SC Clearance is highly preferred (lapsed clearance will be considered) for this secure-site project.
• Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Bicep with a focus on modular design and maintainability.
• Proven experience in Azure-native engineering, specifically with high availability architecture patterns and Azure Networking.
• Extensive experience building advanced automation pipelines using GitHub Actions for large-scale deployments.
• Strong background in infrastructure testing and security automation using frameworks such as Terratest or Checkov.
