Mobile Engineer at develop, United Kingdom, £900 per day

Lead Mobile Engineers (iOS & Android) | Contract (Outside IR35) | Immediate Start

We’re looking for experienced Lead Mobile Engineers (iOS & Android) to join a high-performing product engineering team on an outside IR35 contract, starting immediately.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of mobile engineering within a modern, product-led environment, helping shape the technical direction and delivery of large-scale consumer applications.

Tech Environment

• Native mobile development (Swift / Kotlin)
• Modern mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Cloud-integrated backends and APIs
• Agile, product-led delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Mobile Engineer on large-scale apps
• Deep expertise in either iOS or Android (bonus if you’ve worked across both)
• Strong architectural and system design skills
• Experience working in product-led, cross-functional teams
• Comfortable balancing hands-on coding with technical leadership
• Pragmatic towards AI-assisted development

• Remote (must be based in UK- occasional trip to London)
• Initial 3 months with strong extension potential
