Join a leading organisation dedicated to providing excellent IT services that support the critical infrastructure of health services. We are currently seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our team.

Role Purpose:
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist the Systems Manager in managing the maintenance, development, and support of our Trust's Servers and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. As well as being the key technical resource for a Data Centre move and SAN implementation (NetApp).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively advise on the development and management of Servers and systems.
  • Administer, maintain, and support the Trust's core Servers and operating systems.
  • Develop, test, and implement hardware and software upgrades.
  • Design monitoring environments for server performance.
  • Participate in and manage mixed skill teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations around information access.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Systems Administration/Engineering, particularly with Microsoft products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019), Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy.
  • Previous experience of delivering a NetApp implementation.
  • Experience with MS Exchange (2016 and Exchange Online), SCCM, and MS SQL.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 technologies and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong Scripting skills in PowerShell and Azure Cloud Shell.
  • Excellent project management capabilities.
