TrinIT Talent are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for an Azure native data team the role will be 2 days a week onsite in London working outside of IR35 on a 6 month contract.
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Power BI
Data Integration and ETL
- designing, building and implementing data pipelines, data models and analytic solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
- migration from azure synapse to Fabric (using Medallion architecture approach) whilst maintaining existing SQL server, Azure data lake and Azure Synapse analytics environment in production.
- integrate multiple external 3rd party systems and data sources as well as internal systems into Fabric Data Platform. Integrating using APIs is necessary.
- ETL development - skilled in designing, building and optimising ETL workflows with best practices for data transformation, validation and loading.
- Automating upstream and downstream workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
Data Analytics and Machine Learning
- PowerBI: PowerBI expert in developing, publishing and managing suite of dashboards and reports.
- Coach and build a community of PowerBI developers across the business teams (support beginners to become proficient).
- SQL and data management: Advanced SQL knowledge for querying, managing and transforming data.
- Pyspark, Python and Spark SQL expertise to combine and transform data and build in business logic at the core platform level.
- Experience of using AI tools and developing Machine Learning algorithms for predictive analysis
Data Storage and processing
- Azure Data Lake and Fabric for efficient storage and retrieval of large data sets, synchronous and asynchronous loads
- Use of AI tools to expedite build and release process whilst maintaining ownership and knowledge of underlying codebase.
