BI Business Analyst (Contract)

Hybrid – Edinburgh (2 days onsite) | £500 - £550 per day

Role Overview:

Senior BI BA needed to sit at the centre of a high-performing analytics function. This is not ticket-taking. You’ll shape what gets built, challenge stakeholders (including execs), and take ideas from discovery through to adoption.

You will own requirements, improve data quality, design dashboards (Power BI), and ensure what gets delivered actually answers the real business question. Think commercial impact across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success in a B2B SaaS environment.

Essential Skills:

• Proven BI / Analytics BA experience (not Agile delivery BA)
• Power BI experience + dashboard / report design (Figma or PPT)
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (pipeline, revenue, retention, usage)
• CRM exposure (ideally Salesforce) and data-driven decisioning
• Experience owning data quality issues end-to-end
• Confident running workshops, demos, and user training
• Experience working with data platforms / warehouses

Bonus Points:

• Product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude)
• Jira, ServiceNow, Workday data exposure
• Understanding of dimensional modelling / metrics layers
• Experience building or maintaining a metrics catalogue

This is a long term contract opportunity for an Edinburgh based product company. You will be outside IR35 and working with a highly skilled and driven team.
