A Data Solution Architect (Snowflake) is needed to join a large scale & greenfield data project for a leading Insurance client based in central London.

You'll be joining a high-impact data transformation programme focused on moving beyond a large-scale Legacy modernisation into building a modern, product-led data platform.

Following a major transformation, the focus has shifted to rebuilding the data estate from scratch and redefining how data is structured, delivered, and consumed across the business.

This role will focus on designing and delivering the first data product, proving a new way of working that will underpin a 2-3 year roadmap.

You will own the architecture and contribute to delivery, working in a small, senior team to build a production-grade data products end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end design of data products, from requirements through to production delivery
• Translate loosely defined business needs into clear, structured data models and transformations
• Design and define conformed data products across multiple source systems
• Write and validate SQL-based transformation logic as the core design artefact
• Work closely with stakeholders to: Shape requirements, Resolve data ambiguity, Gain agreement on outputs before build
• Collaborate within a tight product squad (Product Manager + Engineer) to deliver quickly and iteratively
• Contribute hands-on where needed across Data modelling, Transformation logic, Build activities (where appropriate)
• Ensure designs are production-ready, working with engineers on Testing, Performance, Data quality
• Work within and contribute to evolving AI-assisted development practices

The core tech stack includes:

• Snowflake
• DBT
• Fivetran

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect
  Strong data modelling capability
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Experience designing across multiple source systems and integrating them into a unified model
• Comfortable working in environments where requirements are not fully defined
