SAP BTP Architect - Outside IR35 - Remote

TalentBank Technology is supporting an organisation within the technology and consulting sector to engage an experienced SAP BTP Architect on an initial 6-month contract.

This role will play a key part in defining and delivering enterprise-wide SAP integration architecture, leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and associated integration technologies. The successful consultant will take ownership of solution design, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready integration across complex SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture role, requiring both strategic oversight and the ability to contribute technically when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver SAP integration architecture strategy aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Design end-to-end solutions using SAP BTP, Integration Suite (CPI), and Cloud Foundry.
• Architect and implement API-led and event-driven integration patterns, including SAP Event Mesh.
• Lead integration design across SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring scalable and resilient solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across delivery, including hands-on development and oversight of implementation teams.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience working as an SAP BTP Architect or Integration Architect.
• Strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite (CPI), Cloud Foundry, and BTP services.
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures and API strategies.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and SAP Event Mesh.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Additional Experience

• Experience with SAP Data Services or data integration tools.
• Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong background in integration governance, security, and scalability best practices.
• Ability to operate across complex, multi-system landscapes.
