Data Engineer at Arrows, London Area, £500 per day

⚡ Data Engineer | Contract | £500/day | Outside IR35 | London 1x/week | Start ASAP

We're a well-known UK insurtech — the kind of business that runs on data. We're looking for a strong Data Engineer to join us for an initial 3 months and own some genuinely interesting migration and pipeline work.

This is a hands-on IC role with real deliverables -

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴:

→ Migrating a Radar pricing data source from a legacy DB to S3/Azure

→ Building and integrating new pipelines into the DWH across multiple product phases

→ Supporting a full Affiliate & Broker partner migration to a new web UX

→ Owning data quality and reconciliation end-to-end throughout

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱:

→ Advanced SQL and strong Azure Data Factory experience

→ Solid ETL/ELT, FiveTran and dimensional modelling

→ In-depth Azure cloud data infrastructure knowledge

→ Git/DevOps for version control

→ Someone who can work independently and hit the ground running

The work is scoped, the rate is strong, and it's only one day a week in London — the rest is remote.
