Test Manager - Glasgow at Lorien, Glasgow, 6 Months, to £490 per day

6-month contract | Outside IR35 | Up to £490 per day

We're working with one of our main public sector clients who are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing across a critical digital service.

You'll manage a small team of Software Developers in Test, owning the test strategy, coordinating delivery, and ensuring testing is Embedded, automated where possible, and aligned to governance and risk requirements. The role has a strong hands-on element alongside leadership, strategy, and assurance.

Key experience includes:

• Test management and test strategy ownership
• Automation in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Selenium, Playwright, BDD (Gherkin/Cucumber)
• Java and JavaScript
• AWS environments and relational databases (MySQL/Oracle/Aurora)
• Non-functional testing (performance, load)
• Working within public sector governance and assurance frameworks
