Senior Salesforce Engineer at develop, Bournemouth, £600 per day

Salesforce Contractor (Outside IR35) | 6 Months with High Likelihood of Extension | Up to £600 per day

We’re working with a growing business that’s looking for an experienced Salesforce contractor to help assess, stabilise, and improve their current platform following a recent acquisition.

The Role

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver well-designed Salesforce solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with stakeholders to understand processes and requirements
• Designing and implementing Salesforce solutions (config, automation, integrations)
• Establishing and improving environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)
• Setting up and managing source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Supporting controlled releases and governance processes
• Ensuring changes are scalable, secure, and aligned to best practice

What They’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on Salesforce configuration and platform experience
• Experience delivering changes via automation, integrations, and platform tools
• Proven background in source control and CI/CD within Salesforce
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Confident working with stakeholders and challenging where needed
• Experience working in live, production environments

Nice to have:

• Experience stabilising or improving underdeveloped Salesforce environments
• Exposure to Salesforce DX / modern DevOps tooling
• Experience in regulated or controlled environments
• Salesforce certifications (Admin, App Builder, Developer)

• Contract: 6 months initial with high likelihood of extension
• IR35: Outside
• Rate: Up to £600 per day
• Location: Hybrid- travel to Bournemouth (approx. 1 day per week)- potential for more flexibility as project continues
