Urban Telecom is seeking experienced I&C engineers and telecoms subcontractors to support long-term and ad-hoc works across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for established contractors looking for consistent work at competitive rates.

Works covered

a wide range of telecoms and infrastructure activities, including:

• Fibre installations (patching, cleaning, scoping, testing)
• Active equipment installations (routers, switches, OLTs, console servers)
• Data cabling
• Full site audits
• Out-of-hours migration works
• DC power installations
• Commissioning
• Testing, troubleshooting, and fault resolution

Working Environments

Work will take place across various sites, including:

• Fibre exchanges
• Street cabinets
• Data centres
• BT exchanges
• Business and residential properties

Requirements

• Subcontractor status with own vehicle and tools
• Fibre cleaning kit essential (inspection scope preferred)
• NRSWA certification preferred
• Ability to work on both business and residential sites
• Willingness to travel for UK-wide projects
• Must be based in and have a right to work in the UK
