User Researcher (MOD SC Required) at Henderson Scott, London, £700-£725 per day

Seeking a lead User Experience Consultant & Researcher to drive a high-profile Public Sector Defence project. You will bridge the gap between senior MOD stakeholders and technical developers to deliver a mission-critical application.

• Rate: £700 - £725 per day (Outside IR35)

• Clearance: Active MOD SC Required (DV Preferred)

• Location: Hybrid (Remote with 4-5 days/month in London/South)

• Nationality: UK Nationals Only

• Lead user research via interviews and workshops with senior military and civilian stakeholders.

• Translate complex personas and user journeys into high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes using Figma.

• Collaborate with React (TypeScript) developers to ensure design-to-code alignment.

• Maintain design systems focused on WCAG accessibility and Core Web Vitals.

• Defence/Public Sector: Proven track record delivering UX in complex government environments.

• Technical Stack: Proficiency in Figma and awareness of React/TypeScript components.

• Agile Delivery: Expert user of Jira, Confluence, and Slack.

• Stakeholder Management: Confident engaging and influencing senior (MOD) civilian and military personnel.
