SQL Developer (Contract - 6 months, Outside IR35)

We're looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join on a 6-month contract, working on the design and delivery of scalable reporting solutions.

This role is heavily focused on advanced T-SQL development and will play a key part in migrating existing SQL Server stored procedures into BigQuery procedures within a modern data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build robust reporting solutions using SQL Server
• Develop, optimise, and maintain complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures
• Lead the migration of SQL Server stored procedures to BigQuery
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability across reporting outputs
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server
• Proven experience building reporting/data solutions
• Experience migrating or working with BigQuery (or similar cloud data platforms)
• Solid understanding of performance tuning and query optimisation
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment
