The primary focus of this role is to facilitate the migration of existing payment functionalities from a legacy PHP monolith to a modern, AWS-hosted microservice architecture built in Java. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless transition of payment systems, maintaining system integrity, and optimizing performance throughout the migration process.
