Power BI Developer (Outside IR35 Contract) – Data Design and Reporting (ERP / CRM)

Contract Details

• Day Rate: £450 - £550 per day
• Initial Term: 3 months
• Extension: Highly likely based on delivery
• Hybrid: 2–3 days per week onsite (increased flexibility for the right candidate)
• Location: M40 / High Wycombe
• Expected: 2–3 days per week onsite (flexible for the right candidate)

The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a fast-scaling, business following multiple acquisitions across the UK and Germany, the organisation is now consolidating its systems landscape, improving data visibility, and building a best-in-class reporting capability to support commercial decision-making.

This will be working with fragmented data, automate reporting, and create meaningful insight across sales and supplier performance.

The Role

You’ll come in as a hands-on Power BI Developer, owning the end-to-end delivery of reporting and data solutions across the European business.

There is immediate demand to:

• Replace manual Excel-based reporting
• Build scalable Power BI dashboards
• Extract and structure data from ERP and CRM platforms
• Improve data quality and reporting accuracy

You’ll operate with high autonomy, working closely with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, scalable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports
• Automate existing sales and supplier performance reporting
• Extract, transform, and model data
• ERP systems (Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
• Work directly with SQL databases to structure and optimise data for reporting
• Identify and resolve data quality and integrity issues
• Create a scalable data model to support future reporting requirements
• Engage with stakeholders across the European business to align reporting outputs with commercial needs

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Proven ability to build end-to-end BI solutions, not just dashboards
• Strong SQL capability and experience working with backend data structures
• Experience working with ERP and CRM data (e.g. Epicor Profit 21, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar)
• Comfortable operating in unstructured, evolving environments
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to get into the weeds of data
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on execution

• Fragmented data landscape across multiple systems and regions
• Existing US BI function has not met European business needs
• Current reporting is heavily reliant on manual Excel processes
