Release Manager at Us3 Consulting, Manchester Area, £Contract Rate

We are seeking for an experienced Release Manager with strong Salesforce expertise to manage end-to-end release delivery within a complex environment. Manchester (hybrid) and Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full release lifecycle across Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations)
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across multiple teams
• Ensure delivery aligns with timelines, scope, and quality standards
• Manage dependencies, risks, and conflicts across releases

Process & Governance

• Define and improve release processes, standards, and controls
• Ensure compliance with change management and governance frameworks
• Lead release forums (e.g. CAB) and maintain documentation/reporting

Best Practice & Continuous Improvement

• Drive DevOps and CI/CD best practices
• Improve release efficiency, automation, and quality
• Support tools such as Copado, Gearset or similar

Stakeholder & Quality Management

• Act as the key link between engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams
• Communicate release status, risks, and issues clearly
• Ensure testing, validation, and rollback plans are in place

Key Skills

• Proven Release Manager experience in Salesforce environments
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and delivery lifecycle
• Experience with release governance, DevOps, and CI/CD
• Knowledge of ITIL / change management principles
• Strong stakeholder management skills
