We are seeking for an experienced Release Manager with strong Salesforce expertise to manage end-to-end release delivery within a complex environment. Manchester (hybrid) and Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full release lifecycle across Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations)
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across multiple teams
- Ensure delivery aligns with timelines, scope, and quality standards
- Manage dependencies, risks, and conflicts across releases
Process & Governance
- Define and improve release processes, standards, and controls
- Ensure compliance with change management and governance frameworks
- Lead release forums (e.g. CAB) and maintain documentation/reporting
Best Practice & Continuous Improvement
- Drive DevOps and CI/CD best practices
- Improve release efficiency, automation, and quality
- Support tools such as Copado, Gearset or similar
Stakeholder & Quality Management
- Act as the key link between engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams
- Communicate release status, risks, and issues clearly
- Ensure testing, validation, and rollback plans are in place
Key Skills
- Proven Release Manager experience in Salesforce environments
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and delivery lifecycle
- Experience with release governance, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Knowledge of ITIL / change management principles
- Strong stakeholder management skills
