Technical Business Analyst - 6 months, Fully Remote - Outside IR35

Role Overview

In this role, you will gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across OSS/BSS systems and related platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and vendors to translate business needs into clear technical deliverables, supporting both operational improvements and strategic change programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit and document detailed business and technical requirements across OSS/BSS systems.
• Analyse current processes, workflows, and data flows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and technical features.
• Work closely with engineering teams, PMO, and vendors to support delivery.
• Support process design, change initiatives, and system implementations.
• Contribute to testing, validation, and acceptance activities.
• Maintain clear documentation across requirements, processes, and project deliverables.
• Support regulatory and compliance considerations where required.

Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst within telecoms/OSS-BSS environments.
• Strong capability in business process mapping (BPM/BPR) and requirements documentation.
• Experience working with enterprise systems such as CRM (eg Salesforce) and integration platforms (eg MuleSoft).
• Understanding of API-led integration and data requirements analysis.
• Experience supporting change management, vendor engagement, and delivery teams.
• Knowledge of telecoms regulatory frameworks (eg Ofcom) and data compliance (GDPR).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed team environment.
