Contact Centre Architect/SME
Location: London (Hybrid - likely 2 days onsite)
Duration: 3 months (extensions likely)
Start: May 2026
Rate: Outside IR35 - Circa £600 - £650 p/d
We're looking for a highly experienced Contact Centre Architect to join a consulting team delivering strategic advisory into enterprise clients.
This is a true SME role - acting as a trusted advisor to assess, challenge, and optimise contact centre strategies, architecture, and technology investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on contact centre strategy, architecture, and governance
- Evaluate existing platforms, identifying strengths, limitations, and risks
- Review and optimise technology roadmaps and operating models
- Provide practical, experience-led guidance (not theoretical consulting)
- Lead discussions with senior stakeholders across business and technology
- Produce and present strategic recommendations and documentation
Required Experience:
- Deep expertise across contact centre platforms (eg Genesys, Amazon Connect/AWS, similar)
- Strong background in enterprise-scale implementations or operations
- Proven ability to critically assess architecture and technology direction
- Excellent stakeholder engagement - able to influence senior leadership
- Strong understanding of CX trends and contact centre evolution
- Commercial awareness - aligning technology decisions to business outcomes
