Job Title: Enterprise Data/AI Architect

Location: Fully remote across Europe

Contract Type: 6 months + extensions (Contract/freelance/b2b/Outside ir35)

Rate: Varying significantly depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Orbis are currently engaged with an established AI consultancy based out of the UAE that focus on building advanced Investment AI systems across private equity use cases. They deliver production-grade agentic systems across the full deal lifecycle, from AI-powered due diligence and portfolio optimisation to real-time boardroom intelligence and continuous risk monitoring.

They’re looking for an Enterprise Data/AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade data and AI platforms for global investment clients. You’ll play a key role in shaping data strategy, defining architecture standards, and enabling advanced analytics and AI capabilities across complex, high-value environments.

Suitable candidates must have an extensive background covering either private equity, private credit, quant or investment management.

Technical requirements:

- Strong experience with the Azure data stack

- Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse / Warehouse)

- Solid experience using Azure Data Factory for pipelines

- Good knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics

- Experience designing data lakehouse architectures

- Understanding of data governance and security

- Exposure to integrating AI/ML into data platforms
