Location: 5 days onsite: Corsham / Portsmouth (Onsite)

Rate: £450-£500 per day (Outside IR35)

Contract: Short-Term - 3 Month

Overview

We’re looking for an SC Cleared VMware vSphere Engineer to support a critical, short-term requirement within a live operational environment. You’ll be joining an established support function responsible for maintaining and stabilising legacy VMware infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support across VMware vSphere 6.7 environments
• Work within a live system, ensuring minimal disruption to services
• Support incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution
• Collaborate closely with an existing support/resolver team
• Contribute to system stability and ongoing operational performance

Essential Experience

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere (version 6.7)
• Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
• Background in live operational/support environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility to support out-of-hours or weekend work if required
• Willingness to work onsite (Corsham and/or Portsmouth)

Working Model

Primarily onsite (5 days per week). Some flexibility for hybrid working may be available depending on project needs.
