Project Manager - CLM/Deals Governance/CRM Integration
Location: Hybrid (UK-based)
Day Rate: £700-£800 (Outside IR35)
I'm supporting a well-established organisation undertaking a significant transformation across legal, commercial, and operational processes. This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role. It sits at the centre of how the business governs deals, manages contracts, and scales internationally.
You'll play a key role in shaping and embedding a Deals Governance framework, delivering a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution, and aligning commercial, legal, and technology processes across the organisation.
This role requires someone who can operate at a senior level, work across multiple business functions, and drive structure in an environment that is evolving.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of a Deals Governance framework, including approval workflows, controls, and escalation paths
- Own the end-to-end delivery of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, from requirements through to rollout and adoption
- Work closely with Legal, Sales, Commercial, Finance, and IT stakeholders to align governance with commercial objectives
- Drive standardisation and automation of contract processes to improve visibility, compliance, and efficiency
- Align and coordinate contract repositories, data standards, and governance models across the organisation
- Support international expansion by ensuring legal and contract processes are scalable and compliant across regions
- Work alongside CRM teams to ensure seamless integration between contract management and sales processes
- Lead stakeholder engagement, training, and change management to ensure adoption across the business
What we're looking for
- Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional transformation programmes
- Strong background in contract lifecycle management, legal processes, or commercial governance
- Experience implementing CLM or contract management systems end-to-end
- Ability to operate across Legal, Sales, Commercial, and Technology teams
- Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to influence at senior level
- Experience driving change and embedding new processes within evolving environments
Nice to have:
- Experience in multinational or scaling organisations
- Exposure to CRM integrations and data governance
- PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or similar
This is a role for someone who can bring structure, challenge thinking, and deliver outcomes across multiple parts of the business, not just manage a plan.
